Blog # 12 : Research for APR

I felt this article was relevant because is shows us male envy and jealousy when it comes to women.  In terms of time,  it goes back several centuries.  Since it's in China, it also shows a different culture besides the typical "Western" cultures we typically see a lot of media from in the United States and Europe.  Biologically speaking, similar things go on among humans in various places.  It shows variation in time and place, but similar behavior.

"Men who lived in an increasingly difficult and complex world committed acts of violence because of jealousy, driven by a sense of honor, by love and by desire for a woman."

"Fighting For Love" sums up what Atherton and Mal are doing to win over Inara in "Shindig".
