Blog #18 "Given that romantic love is an important part of our lives, one would also expect the same of falling in love."

"Given that romantic love is an important part of our lives, one would also expect the same of falling in love."

"Experiences of falling in love: Investigating culture, ethnicity, gender, and speed", an article by Suzanne Riela tells of 12 precursors for falling in love.  I listed those in a previous blog, and will use them on my paper as well.  When I think about any time that I have observed someone "falling" for someone else, or even in my own situations, I feel all the precursors Riela lists are accurate.  Thus, the article makes perfect sense to use quotes and information from for my APR regarding Firefly.  Reciprocal liking, appearance, personality, similarity, familiarity, social influence, filling needs, arousal, readiness, specific cues, isolation, and mysteriousness.  When I look at Mal and Inara, I see aspects of all 12 of theses "precursors", and I see them falling for each other.
